Fall crop insurance deadline near

Rhode Island cranberry, apple and peach growers have only until November 20 to sign up for federally subsidized crop insurance, or to make any changes to existing policies.

Not all crops are insurable in every county, nor are all policy choices available in every county. Producers wanting to learn more, to sign up, or to make any changes to existing policies must contact a crop insurance agent before the November 20 deadline.
